Deferred action immigration enforcement

If I happen to run into an immigration enforcement officer and meet the requirements for deferred action will they put me into removal proceedings anyway?

Answer: Currently the Department of Homeland Security is no longer accepting new applications for DACA. Meaning, if you currently don't hold this status, you are no longer able to request it and therefore will not meet requirements. If you are detained and placed in removal proceedings, you may want to contact and experienced immigration attorney.
